The truth is rarely pure and never simple. – Oscar Wilde

I honestly have no idea where the last couple of months went, and I can’t believe Thanksgiving is literally right around the corner. Our house is still in shambles but we had an incredibly productive weekend and the days after Thanksgiving will be spent putting in the new floor, which I am terribly excited about! Thirteen months after the leak was discovered we are getting the house together and in a few months it will be ready to be put up for sale, unless we decide to stay in Flagstaff for some odd reason. But all of this means we won’t be having Thanksgiving at our house and the rest of the family doesn’t cook, so a turkey dinner with all the fixings is not on the agenda this year, and I am a tad bit disappointed. I love the whole production like atmosphere of Thanksgiving, and its the only time of the year I get to make certain dishes I love, so I have a feeling we will be having our own turkey dinner at some point this month, since Christmas will be spent with the entire family, where I will be cooking lots of different things except a turkey!  The truth is, I love the traditions, and the time with the family and I hate when things change, which means I am a bit out of sorts now after finalizing the plans for next week, and a quote from Oscar Wilde has danced through my head this morning more than once, after realizing what he meant. “The truth is rarely pure and never simple,” but a photo is simple and it speaks the truth you wish to see!

The truth is rarely pure and never simple

On Friday I actually had time to head out onto the grid from my land and check out a few events, including Collabor88, FaMESHed and Fifty Linden Fridays and I am STILL trying to unpack all my goodies!  Not to mention I got my De(c)ocrate and Powder Pack releases as well on Friday, since I had been away for most of the week, and all my other blogger boxes, so I had TONS of stuff to check out and I haven’t gotten to them all just yet!  But the first thing I had to unpack were my goodies from Collabor88 because I absolutely LOVE this new jumpsuit from Scandalize.  The Anashara jumpsuit comes with several options including jacket, chains, and two versions, pearl and plain, and in a wide variety of colors as well as an ombre in every set.  The jumpsuit is well designed and all the little details make it well worth the trip to Collabor88, which is also where you will find this GORGEOUS new hair from Tram, which you just have to see in person to truly appreciate, and if you are looking for a simple, yet stylish new necklace and bracelet collection then make sure you head over to The Chapter Four and see the Seeds of Metal set, by Petit Chat, for yourself, it will be well worth the trip!  Each bracelet comes with a HUD offering 6 metal choices, making it incredibly versatile, as well as two length options, so it can be worn with even your most cleavage revealing ensembles!

Happy shopping and have a wonderfully wicked rest of your day!
